چکیده
Introduction: Patients (pts) with follicular lymphoma (FL) can have long survival, nevertheless most of them subsequent relapses disease-free intervals progressively shorter. In the present chemo-free era role transplantation has been questioned and its right place in treatment plan relapse/refractory (R/R) disease is still challenging. The aim this analysis was to collect long-term follow-up data on pts treated HDT-ASCT our Institution focusing outcome toxicity. Methods: All patients R/R FL, consecutively last 18 years were considered. Response assessment made as recommended by International Workshop criteria survival calculated Kaplan-Meyer method. primary end point overall (OS). Secondary points included progression-free (PFS), time progression (TTP), second tumors. Survival also focused different subgroups divided according early (POD24) or late (noPOD24) relapse timing transplant procedure. Results: Between June 2003 May 2021, 87 underwent ASCT, 70 had complete be considered for analysis. Median age 58 yrs (range 37–75) 53% (POD24). With a median 110 months from ASCT 4–197), 5-years(yrs) 10-yrs OS 80% 69%, PFS 55% 39% TTP 62% 51% respectively, plateau around 8 after (Figure 1). No difference recorded receiving line (80%) later (20%). cohort 45 transplanted 2nd-line who received 1st-line therapy within first year diagnosis, 10 versus 79% (p = 0.26) POD24 noPOD24, respectively. Transplant Related Mortality observed. Thirty (43%) progression, 2, (3%) histological transformation into diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Nineteen (27%) developed 2nd tumors [10 (53%) hematological, (42%) solid 1 (5%) both]. majority (84%) previously purine analogues Ibritumomab tiuxetan both. Twenty (29%) died [4 (20%) lymphoma, 12 (60%) 4 infections including 3 covid-19]. Keyword: indolent non-Hodgkin conflicts interests pertinent abstract.

High Dose Chemotherapy and Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation in Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma: an Eight-Year Experience
Autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) is commonly used in relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Several trials report the role of ASCT for high risk patients. We evaluated the results and the prognostic factors influencing the therapeutic effects on the patients who were treated with high dose chemotherapy (HDC) and autologous peripheral stem cell transplantation. We analyz...
متن کاملAutologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for relapsed follicular lymphoma: safety profile and clinical outcome in a single-center experience
Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) is a treatment option for relapsed and recurrent follicular lymphoma (R/R FL); however, its value in the rituximab era remains to be elucidated. To evaluate the safety and clinical outcome of AHSCT for relapsed FL, we present a retrospective series of AHSCT for 30 FL patients (17 male and 13 female) at median age of 49 years. Patients w...

BACKGROUND High-dose chemotherapy (HDT) with autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) plays an important role in the treatment of aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). We report on a retrospective analysis of all patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who were consecutively treated with HDT followed by ASCT at the University Hospital of Bonn, Germany, between 1996 and 2004. METHODS...

ABSTR ACT: This is a single-center review of retrospectively collected computerized data and medical records of all the patients who have undergone high dose chemotherapy and ASCT for transformed lymphoma from 1999–2014. The primary endpoint of the study was overall survival (OS) and secondary endpoint was progression free survival (PFS). A total of 27 patients with histological transformation ...

Survival of patients with multiple myeloma has improved substantially because of availability of new therapies including autotransplants, immunomodulating drugs and proteasome-inhibitors. Second primary cancers have emerged as an important determinant of morbidity and mortality among cancer survivors. Even though there is an increased risk of new cancers of the lymphoreticular and haematopoetic...
